Tagging
Wikipedia defines a tag as “a non-hierarchical keyword or term assigned to a piece of information (such as an internet bookmark, digital image, or computer file).” What does this mean in practice? It means that content authors and viewers can add labels to any content in your community then later use these terms to find related pieces of information or create an informal form of navigation.
Ratings
By allowing your employees and customers to rate content you can quickly locate the best and worst of your content. The highest rated content and contributors can be rewarded and out-of-date or poorly written content can be brought up to the high standards you expect.
